The Rise of Mobile EV Charging
Why fleet operators are switching to trailer-mounted DC fast-charging.
By Tratou Editorial
Permanent EV charging infrastructure is slow to permit, slow to build, and increasingly expensive in dense urban or remote corridors. Mobile, trailer-mounted DC fast chargers solve the gap. They arrive pre-charged, deliver 120–360 kW of output, and roll on to the next site once demand is met. Fleet operators, ride-hailing depots, and event organisers are deploying mobile chargers as both bridge infrastructure and overflow capacity — without the multi-year permitting cycle.
